Positions Available Now 

Early Childhood Educator/ Infant-Toddler Educator (x2), full time 

Early Childhood Educator Assistant (x1), part time

Location: Fernie, BC

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate learning activities.

  • Observe, document, and support each child’s development.

  • Build positive, ongoing relationships with families.

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom.

  • Maintain health and safety standards inside and outside of the classroom

  • Work closely with fellow educators and Supported Child Development professionals

Qualifications

  • BC Registered certification as ECE, ECE with Infant Toddler or ECEA.

  • Clear Criminal Record Check.

  • First Aid with Childcare CPR (training provided if not yet certified).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

  • 2 years or more of previous childcare or early-learning experience is an asset.

Wage Range:

  • ECEA – $22.00 /hour
     

  • ECE – $30.50 /hour
     

  • ECE- INFANT TODDLER – $31.00 /hour

* (ECEs may qualify for an additional $2/hour ECE Wage Subsidy through Columbia Basin Trust)
