Early Childhood Educator/ Infant-Toddler Educator (x2), full time
Early Childhood Educator Assistant (x1), part time
Location: Fernie, BC
Responsibilities
-
Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate learning activities.

Observe, document, and support each child’s development.
-
Build positive, ongoing relationships with families.
-
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom.
-
Maintain health and safety standards inside and outside of the classroom
-
Work closely with fellow educators and Supported Child Development professionals
Qualifications
-
BC Registered certification as ECE, ECE with Infant Toddler or ECEA.
-
Clear Criminal Record Check.
-
First Aid with Childcare CPR (training provided if not yet certified).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
-
2 years or more of previous childcare or early-learning experience is an asset.

ECEA – $22.00 /hour

ECE – $30.50 /hour

ECE- INFANT TODDLER – $31.00 /hour
* (ECEs may qualify for an additional $2/hour ECE Wage Subsidy through Columbia Basin Trust)
