Into the Woods is looking for an ECE or ECEA to act as classroom support in our 3-5 program.
In this role, you will work alongside all the children in our classroom, with the intention of offering direct and indirect support to two children with identified additional needs. Your priority is to support and encourage an inclusive environment where all children feel valued, respected and capable.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, kindness and proactive approaches to the needs and desires of the children to whom you support. You will communicate with colleagues and family members to ensure a consistent, fair and inclusive approach.
We are looking for educators that have experience in a group childcare setting and are excited to work alongside others in a dynamic, innovative and busy program. Into the Woods strives to be nature-based, and requires extended periods of time outdoors.
Qualifications:
Basic ECE
Additional Qualifications:
We are looking for someone that holds an ECE or ECEA License to Practice in BC. Additional education that supports diverse and complex needs is an asset.
The abilty to relaible commute or relocate to Qualicum Beach is mandatory.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary is based on education/certification. The range is between $24-$26.50/hr with an additional $6/hr Wage Enhancement for those who qualify.
7 paid sick days as well as 8 paid additional "Educator Wellness" days are included.
