Arcadian is looking to grow our Educator team! We have the ability to add 8 new spaces to our current infant and toddler programs so we are searching for two fulltime certified Infant and toddler Educators. We would potentially consider certified basic ECE educators.
Qualifications:
Basic ECE
Additional Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Early Childhood Education Certificate
- Current Infant and Toddler Educator Certificate will be given preference or someone who is currently enrolled in the IT program or interested in completing
- Current first aid in accordance with childcare licensing requirements

Required Experience:
- Experience working in a group childcare Centre, preferably with children 0-3
- Experience working in a team environment
- Ability to work well with others, give and take feedback, share with your team
- Program plan and provide rich nature-based experiences and activities
- Experience and/or understanding of Reggio-Emilia and nature-based curriculum is a bonus
- Ability to work on your own and complete assigned tasks
- Patient, kind and considerate
- Understanding of child led practices
Salary & Benefits:
Starting wage of $25.90-$26.61 depending on qualifications (including Wage Enhancement, if you qualify)-as per the current BCGEU collective agreement. 3% increase to the above wages as of Septmeber 1st, 2025 and an additional 3% September 1st, 2026.
Competitive extended health and benefits package after completion of probation paid 100% by the employer.
12 paid sick days per year as well as a minimum of 12 paid holidays per year once you pass probation and complete your first year.
