Key Responsibilities
· Implementing a Montessori curriculum for children ages 2.5-6 years old
. We are dedicated to achieving professional excellence by upholding and promoting AMI standards and principles in all our endeavours.
· Assessing, observing, and caring for the needs of every child
· Maintaining open and honest lines of communication between parents and team members
· Daily reporting and record-keeping - attendance, medication, communication logs, Incident reports, etc.
General Qualifications
· Show a solid grasp of Montessori philosophy and child development
· Strong Classroom Management Skills
· Ability to express effectively in English, both verbal and written, French an asset
· Flexible, accountable and has a growth mindset
· Good interpersonal skills and able to establish positive rapport with all stakeholders.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Work Location: In person
Qualifications:
Other: Basic ECE & Montessori Certificate
Additional Qualifications:
- AMI/AMS training for the Primary (Casa) age group Montessori Certificatio
- BC Early Childhood Educator/Assistant License
- First Aid CPR AED
- Pass Criminal Record Check

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
