KEY Education is Vancouver’s leading admissions consulting company that provides an integrated education and admissions guidance offering to support student and parent readiness for private school. Educators work with students one-on-one and/or in groups of a maximum of 6 children.
Job Summary
We are seeking full-time, highly qualified Early Childhood Educators to teach in our Preschool and Little Scholars programs. These roles will be required to plan and implement the academic and social-emotional learning programs. We offer a variety of morning, afternoon, after-school, and weekend Little Scholars education programs at our campus.
Work Schedule
- Tuesday to Saturday & Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Preschool program: Guide children during a 4-hour preschool program.
- Little Scholars program: Lead children through 2-hour group lesson plans that focus on developing academic and social-emotional competencies to aid in private school preparation.
- Evaluate students on an ongoing basis to ensure that all the child’s learning needs are met.
- Act as a role model for students, and staff. Maintain a positive relationship with families and their children to promote a love of learning.
- Attend weekly team meetings.
- Manage small groups of students in a classroom environment; and communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff.
- Work integrally with KEY educators to evaluate, revise and recommend improvements of the current curriculum and learning resources.

Qualifications:
Basic ECE
Additional Qualifications:
- Valid BC Child Care License - ECE (5 years preferred)
- Prior experience working with children between the age of 2.5 to 6 years old in an educational context.
- A Degree from an accredited institution in Education or related field is an asset.
- Montessori and/or Reggio training is an asset.
- Clear criminal record check.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.

- Passionate in teaching children between the ages of 2.5 to 6 years.
- Working familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Punctuality and reliability to meet all scheduled class sessions.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
